Bio-polymers
Bio-polymers have a wide range of application in various industries including pharmaceuticals and food industries. During my research at Phillips Hydrocolloids Research Centre I provided consultation service to various industries on characterisation of hydrocolloids, formulation, emulsion stability and their surface adsorption.
Adsorption of bio-polymers were investigated experimentally and their adsorption were studied using various adsorption isotherms to provide a good estimation for the number adsorbed layers and its effect on their shelf life stability.
